McCarthy Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Site Manager for a busy Ipswich operation. You will take full operational responsibility for the site, drive safety culture, manage performance and profitability, and lead a capable on-site team to deliver excellent service.

Essential qualifications include a WAMITAB/COTC credential, proven experience in waste, recycling, environmental or logistics sectors, and strong HSE leadership.

Qualifications

• WAMITAB/COTC qualification required.
• Experience managing a site, depot or facility.
• Strong Health & Safety leadership.
• Experience managing operational KPIs and driving improvement.
• Proven people management and development experience.
• Experience managing budgets and commercial performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and developing a site-based team.
• Driving a proactive Health & Safety culture and ensuring compliance at all times.
• Managing operational performance against key business KPIs.
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Taking ownership of site budgets, commercial performance and profitability.
• Ensuring compliance with all environmental, employment and company policies.
• Building strong working relationships across the wider business.
• Supporting employee development through coaching, training and best practice sharing.
• Delivering high levels of operational and customer service performance.
• Promoting a positive, engaged and accountable site culture.
