Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is hiring an Area Manager to lead operations at one of our Fulfilment Centres. You will drive safety, quality and productivity while mentoring a team of managers and frontline colleagues.

You’ll own shift performance, oversee process improvements, and collaborate with senior leaders to standardise practices across your area, delivering fast, reliable service to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in people management.
• Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including leadership.
• Experience in English-language communication, written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree, or experience using data to influence business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Create, oversee, and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing.
• Analyse and implement changes to keep quality and productivity high.
• Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimise productivity and increase quality of service for customers within your area of responsibility.
• Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence.
• Work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardise shift practices.
