Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an Area Manager to lead a large, diverse team and keep pace with demand in a fast-paced, global operation. You will drive productivity while addressing challenges, and work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless execution across shifts.

You will promote safety, analyse performance data, and implement improvements to boost quality and customer service. The role requires flexibility in scheduling and a hands-on leadership approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Operations, Logistics or a related field.
• Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering with people at all levels.
• Experience managing, motivating, and influencing team behaviors.
• Experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little guidance and reacting with urgency.
• Work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing.
• Analyse and implement corrective actions to make sure quality and productivity are at consistently high levels, and business objectives are met across all shifts.
• Support and lead a team and handle administrative work alongside building and supporting a strong team culture.
• Analyse performance and suggest process improvements to optimise work and improve customer service.
• Collaborate with other managers to standardise shift processes.
