Job summary

Social Interest Group (SIG) in London is seeking an Area Manager to lead the Complex Needs housing service across Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, supervising Service Managers and coordinating multiple accommodations with around 153 residents. The role involves travel and four days in the office weekly, with some sites lacking step-free access.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience and the ability to take responsibility for the full service
• Demonstrated experience leading a service/team in a similar capacity
• Experience in homelessness, complex needs, mental health, substance use, or social care services

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse service performance data and KPIs
• Line management and leadership, fostering staff wellbeing and development
• Support daily operations to deliver outcomes for residents
• Lead day-to-day operational delivery of the service
• Manage risk and ensure policy compliance
• Oversee property and housing management and maintenance reporting
• Drive excellence and quality in service delivery
• Oversee budget and cost-saving initiatives
