Job summary

JCO Healthcare is seeking a Responsible Individual/Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of children’s residential homes in Lancashire and the North West. You will provide strategic leadership, ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance, and support Registered Managers across multiple sites.

The role requires experience as RI/Area Manager in children's residential care, driving service improvements, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

Experience as Responsible Individual/Area Manager in children's residential care.
Overseeing multiple services and teams.
Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification as required.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Oversight of up to five children’s residential homes.
Support and develop Registered Managers.
Monitor quality, safeguarding, incidents, complaints and service performance.
Conduct audits, quality assurance visits and service reviews.
Ensure compliance with Ofsted and quality standards; implement improvement plans.
