Job summary

YourCare (North West) is a family-run organisation seeking an experienced Residential Manager to lead one of our children''s homes with outstanding care and strong staff leadership. You will ensure full regulatory compliance and act as the main contact for professionals, families and inspectors.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing or deputising in a children's residential setting.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and regulatory understanding.
• Confident, consistent, and child-focused leadership style.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of the home.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children and young people.
• Ensure high-quality, child-centred care in line with regulations and best practice.
• Lead, develop, and supervise the staff team, including seniors and team leads.
• Oversee care planning, risk management, and outcomes for children.
• Maintain compliance with Ofsted and regulatory frameworks.
• Manage staffing, rotas, budgets, and day-to-day operations.
• Act as the main point of contact for professionals, families, and inspectors.
