Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an Area Manager for AMZL, delivering safe, efficient, high-quality last-mile operations at a delivery station in London. You will lead a team, manage shifts, and drive continuous improvement across productivity and safety initiatives.

You will use data to influence decisions, collaborate with leadership, and mentor new managers while maintaining strong standards of service and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or Advanced degree.
• Experience managing people.
• Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
• Experience using data to influence business decisions.
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Create, oversee, and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing
• Analyse and implement changes to keep quality and productivity at a consistently high level
• Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimise productivity and increase quality of service for customers within your area of responsibility
• Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence
• Work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardise shift practices
