Job summary

TC Facilities Management is seeking a proactive Temporary Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of sites across Scotland. You’ll lead on-site teams, ensure high service standards, and act as the link between colleagues and customers.

This role involves travel between sites and weekend or shift coverage as needed. You’ll conduct site visits, build strong customer relationships, coach staff, manage rotas and budgets, and drive recruitment, onboarding, and training across your area.

About The Role

Temporary Area Manager

We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of sites within our organisation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, managing operations, and building strong customer relationships.

You will be required to coverthe Scotland area.

As an Area Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for day‑to‑day service delivery across your area. You’ll support on‑site teams, ensure high standards, and act as the key link between our colleagues and our customers.

If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy travelling between sites, and have a passion for motivating teams, this role could be a great fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conducting structured site visits to ensure service standards are consistently met
• Building strong customer relationships through open communication and regular engagement
• Coaching and supporting on‑site teams to deliver excellent service
• Managing rotas, reviewing hours, and maintaining budget control
• Leading recruitment, onboarding, and training across your area
• Reviewing audits, identifying improvements, and taking action
• Ensuring colleagues have the tools, equipment, and resources needed to succeed
• Maintaining compliance with company processes, policies, and standards
