Job summary

Greene King is seeking an Area Kitchen Manager to lead the Leicester Arms kitchen and provide hands-on support to kitchen teams across the area. You will work with General Managers and kitchen leaders to maintain high standards, develop capability and support recruitment, onboarding and training of staff.

You will identify development opportunities, coach colleagues and step in to support pubs across the area, ensuring meals are delivered to customers on time with outstanding quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience leading busy, high-volume kitchen environments.
• Proven ability to train and develop kitchen teams.
• Ability to travel across pubs and work with multiple managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen operation at the Leicester Arms and ensure smooth service.
• Support area kitchens with training, coaching and operational guidance.
• Recruit, onboard and develop kitchen staff across the area.
• Identify skills gaps and development opportunities with General Managers.
• Deliver practical training to improve food quality, organisation and productivity.
• Support new kitchen managers and chefs as they settle into roles.
• Travel to other pubs to provide leadership when required.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and safety and allergen controls.
