Job summary

Greene King pubs is seeking an Area Kitchen Manager to lead the Leicester Arms kitchen and provide hands-on support to teams across the area. You will work with General Managers to maintain high standards, drive kitchen capability, and develop staff through recruitment, onboarding and training.

You will also coach teams, identify development opportunities and help other pubs with operational guidance, stock management and cost control while maintaining food safety and allergen compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a high-volume kitchen in a senior role.
• Strong track record of training and coaching kitchen teams.
• Experience recruiting, onboarding and developing kitchen colleagues.
• Willingness to travel between pubs within the area and support other sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen operation at the Leicester Arms, ensuring every service runs smoothly.
• Support kitchen teams across the area with training, coaching and guidance.
• Help recruit, onboard and develop kitchen colleagues and build strong teams.
• Work with General Managers to identify skills gaps and development opportunities.
• Deliver practical training to improve food quality, structure and productivity.
