Job Title: Area General Manager (AGM)

Are you ready to lead, inspire, and deliver outstanding results? We are seeking a dynamic Area General Manager (AGM) responsible for the profit, performance, and health & safety of our Aggregates plants.

In this leadership role, you will:

  1. Manage a high-performing team including Operations Managers, Territory Sales Managers, Plant Production Managers, and Internal Sales Representatives.
  2. Develop and implement a Market Strategy Plan (MSP) to drive sales and business growth.
  3. Ensure operational excellence, sustainability efforts, and timely, within-budget Capex projects.
  4. Collaborate with the customer service team to exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuously seek to improve performance levels and pursue opportunities for operational efficiencies and growth.
  • Maintain the highest standards of Health & Safety.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop your sales and operational teams to execute the area business strategy.
  • Develop and review quarterly Market Strategy Plans (MSP) to achieve sales, pricing, and margin targets.
  • Ensure TSMs pre-plan their activities efficiently, aligned with their Territory Plan, utilizing digital and face-to-face methods.
  • Maintain structured customer and prospect contact cycles, leveraging digital media including video calls.
  • Implement a management cycle incorporating operational and customer service teams.
  • Operate in accordance with environmental objectives, continuously improving environmental performance.
  • Adhere to statutory legislation and company regulations across all operations.
  • Achieve optimal production levels, focusing on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure high-quality operational procedures at efficient costs.
