Job summary

Glen Group is seeking an experienced Area Cleaning Mobile Supervisor to support on-site cleaning teams across Office & Educational settings in the Rugeley area, UK. The role is part-time and permanent, requiring availability 5 days out of 7, typically 7am–9pm, averaging 35 hours weekly, at £15 per hour.

A valid UK driving licence and use of own vehicle may be required. You will coordinate visits, plan holidays, manage on-site issues, perform client audits, and maintain client communication.

• Essential supervisory experience in the cleaning industry.
• Full UK driving licence with at least 1 year driving experience.
• Flexibility with working hours.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Cover cleaning - short notice sickness and annual leave.
• Plan site visits with the Area Manager.
• Plan staff holidays.
• Deal with on-site issues and correct cleaning issues.
• Carry out on-site audits with clients.
• Communicate with clients.
• Train new employees and provide refresher training.
• Be flexible during working hours.
• Work closely with the Area Manager and cover during annual leave.

We're looking for an experienced Area Cleaning Mobile Supervisor to join our team, supporting our Area Cleaning Manager with our on-site Cleaning Teams across both Office & Educational settings in the Rugeley area.

About the Role

Due to varying shift patterns across our portfolio, you'll need to be available to work 5 days out of 7, between 7am and 9pm, Monday to Sunday (average 35 hours per week) at £15 per hour.

We also require someone with a safe working Vehicle as use of own Vehicle will be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Cover Cleaning - short notice sickness & Annual Leave
• Planning site visits with your Area Manager
• Planning staff holidays
• Dealing with on-site issues
• Correcting cleaning issues
• Carrying out on-site cleaning Audits with our Clients
• Communication with our Clients
• Training new Employees
• Refresher training with all Employees
• Be flexible during working hours
• Working closely with our Area Manager
• Covering the Area Manager during Annual Leave

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in the cleaning industry, including supervisory experience (essential)
• Full UK driving licence, minimum 1 year's driving experience, and aged 21+ (required for insurance purposes)
• Flexibility with working hours
• Strong communication and organisational skills
