Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is looking for a proactive supervisor to manage two contracts, support HR, recruitment, and client services, and cover cleaning sites as needed.

You will lead the cleaning team to meet contract standards, balance daily operations with budget considerations, and ensure health, safety and compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple contracts and client services.
• Recruitment, induction training and staff development responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH policies.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a consistent level of service within the Company's standards to contract specs and performance levels.
• Involved in recruitment, induction training and staff development.
• Ensure cleaning team have appropriate assistance as required.
• Cover cleaning roles during holidays or sickness and staff shortages.
• Manage day-to-day aspects of cleaning service within the contract specification.
• Allocate work within contract detail, budget and principles.
• Maintain contact via company phone and respond to 24-hour requests.
• Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH and other policies.
• Ensure personal hygiene and uniform compliance.
• Control and issue cleaning materials and manage stock rotation.
• Carry out weekly cleaning audits with the Account Manager.
• Check equipment conditions and report faults.
• Provide courteous, efficient service to customers and clients across all service areas.
