Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. in Maidstone are seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their established architectural team on high-rise residential and education projects.

You will produce and coordinate detailed drawings, support technical design through RIBA Stages 4 and 5, and work closely with engineers and contractors in a collaborative, hybrid-working environment. A competitive salary and progression opportunities are on offer.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Architectural Technology or related discipline.
• Several years' experience in an architectural practice or built environment consultancy.
• Strong technical ability with delivery through RIBA Stages 4 and 5.
• Strong knowledge of Revit.
• Understanding of planning processes, Building Regulations and relevant technical standards.
• Experience coordinating technical information and producing detailed construction drawings.
• Live within a commutable distance of Maidstone.

Responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawing packages for residential and education projects.
• Support technical design and delivery from detailed design through to construction.
• Prepare, develop and review technical drawings, specifications and project information.
• Coordinate architectural information with structural engineers, building services consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Develop compliant, practical and well-detailed technical solutions, considering buildability and construction requirements.
• Assist with managing drawing packages and technical information through RIBA Stages 4 and 5.
• Help ensure projects comply with current UK Building Regulations, relevant legislation and industry best practice.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider multi-disciplinary consultancy.
• Contribute to a varied portfolio, with a particular focus on high-rise residential developments and education projects, including new-build and refurbishment schemes.
