Job Opportunity: Architectural Technologist

Our client, a multi-disciplinary consultancy, is seeking talented Architectural Technologists to join their expanding team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an experienced, professional, multi-disciplinary environment. Responsibilities

1. Production and coordination of technical drawings
2. Delivering projects in 2D/3D using Autodesk Revit, adhering to standard BIM workflows such as internal reviews and clash detection
3. Assisting in the preparation of drawings through all RIBA Work Stages
4. Liaising with design team members and clients, reviewing third-party information for coordinated design integration
5. Producing and analyzing detailed specifications for materials and processes to ensure robust details
6. Attending meetings and site visits, liaising with contractors and other disciplines to provide technical advice and reports
7. Maintaining a portfolio of work demonstrating experience as an Architectural Technologist
8. Staying informed on current and emerging technical, environmental, legislative, and statutory issues relevant to the role

Qualifications

• Degree in Architectural Technology or HNC/HND in a relevant construction-related field
• Proficiency in Revit for 3D collaborative design and 2D production
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks independently
• Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration and diplomacy
