Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take projects through the technical and delivery stages.
• Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawing packages.
• Lead and manage the technical design process.

Duties span initial concept through to completion, with several significant projects advancing through technical and construction stages. Strong technical detailing, building regulations knowledge and proficiency with relevant software are essential. The role involves collaboration within growing studios, supporting delivery of varied, high-quality projects.

Architect or Architectural Technologist, Exeter£40K - £50k DOE

An excellent opportunity an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist to join a well-established, award-winning architectural practice in Exeter. With a strong reputation across the South West, the practice works across an impressive range of sectors including healthcare, education, defence, residential, commercial, leisure and sports, delivering projects from initial concept right through to completion.

They have a growing workload across both of their South West studios and a number of significant projects moving through the technical and construction stages. They are now looking for someone experienced, technically strong and confident delivering projects through all RIBA stages. This could suit either a Senior Architect with a strong technical bias or an experienced Architectural Technologist who is comfortable taking responsibility for projects, coordinating technical information and working closely with consultants and contractors.

You’ll be joining a friendly and collaborative team, working on a varied portfolio of projects with plenty of opportunity to take ownership and see schemes through from detailed design to completion.

The role will include:

Requirements :

• An experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist with 5 years PQE
• Strong technical and construction knowledge
• Excellent experience across all RIBA stages
• Proven experience producing and coordinating technical packages
• Confidence running projects and taking responsibility for delivery
• Good consultant, contractor and client coordination experience
• Experience across a variety of project sectors would be beneficial
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Revit proficiency is essential
