Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Exeter is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist for a full-time role. The salary is £40,000 to £50,000 annually, depending on experience, with the practice delivering across healthcare, education, defence, residential, commercial, leisure and sports sectors.

The role spans initial concept through to completion, with several projects moving through technical and construction stages.

Qualifications

• Experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist with 5 years PQE.
• Strong technical and construction knowledge across UK standards.
• Proven experience producing and coordinating technical packages across RIBA stages.

Responsibilities

• Take projects through the technical and delivery stages.
• Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawing packages.
• Lead and manage the technical design process.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and clients.
• Attend site and project meetings.
• Resolve technical and construction queries.
• Carry out site inspections and measured surveys where required.
• Ensure projects comply with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards.
• Take responsibility for your own projects and workload.
• Support the wider project team to ensure successful delivery.
