  • Build strong working relationships with clients and attend meetings where required.
  • Coordinate design information with consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
  • Ensure drawings and technical information are accurate, coordinated and produced within agreed timescales.
  • Manage several projects simultaneously, prioritising workloads while maintaining a high standard of technical output.
  • Contribute technical knowledge and practical construction understanding throughout the design process.

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the UK residential sector, either with a consultancy or architectural practice focused on housing, or within the technical/design function of a residential developer or housebuilder.

You will ideally have:

  • A strong background in residential technical design and drawing production.
  • Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and residential construction methods.
  • Strong AutoCAD skills; experience with Revit would be beneficial.
  • The ability to interpret and produce detailed technical information accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients and other project stakeholders.
  • A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple projects.

This role would particularly suit an Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist who is looking to take on a broader position with greater client exposure, responsibility and involvement across the project lifecycle.
