Job summary

Knightwood Associates Limited, a well-established architectural practice specialising in residential development, invites an Architectural Technician or Technologist to join a collaborative team delivering schemes from concept through construction in the UK.

You'll produce high-quality drawings, liaise with leading housebuilders and attend meetings, ensuring design intent is maintained while coordinating with consultants across multiple projects, with emphasis on accuracy and client service.

Qualifications

• Strong technical drawing ability with knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and residential construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit experience would be advantageous.
• Comfortable in a client-facing environment with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established architectural practice specialising exclusively in the residential development sector. Working with many of the UK's leading housebuilders, this is an opportunity to become part of a highly respected team delivering high-quality residential schemes from concept through to construction.
This role would suit an Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist who enjoys a varied position, combining technical drawing responsibilities with regular client interaction. You will be confident producing accurate technical information while also building strong relationships with clients and attending meetings as required.

The Role

• Produce high-quality technical drawings and construction information for residential developments.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working either:
  • within an architectural practice specialising exclusively in residential housebuilding, or
  • in an in-house drawing/technical department for a UK residential developer.
• Strong technical drawing ability with excellent knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and residential construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit experience would be advantageous).
• Comfortable in a client-facing environment with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
