Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to join its expanding team. You will work on residential and commercial projects from planning through to construction, delivering technical packages and construction documentation.

The role requires a degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology, at least 3 years' experience, and a strong grasp of UK Building Regulations and planning processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology / related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as Architectural Technician/Technologist.
• Strong experience delivering both commercial and residential developments.
• Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations & planning processes.
• Experience producing technical packages and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full right to work in the UK.

We’re looking for a skilled Senior Architectural Technician to join our expanding team. You will be working on projects across residential and commercial sectors from planning to construction.

Essential Skills and Experience

• a degree in Architecture, or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology / related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Architectural Technician/Technologist.
• Strong experience delivering both commercial and residential developments.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations & planning processes.
• Experience producing technical packages and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Desirable

• Experience with large-scale residential developments
• Knowledge of Building Safety Act requirements and Gateway processes
• Experience mentoring junior staff and leading technical teams
• Proficiency in SketchUp, Navisworks, Vectorworks, InDesign.
