Job summary

Etex is seeking an Architectural Specification Manager to cover Oxford and London areas, with responsibilities across East Anglia and London. The role focuses on providing technical support to architects and contractors, managing project specs and driving conversions through strong relationships and technical excellence.

You will deliver design guidance, develop specifications, and work with sales and engineering to ensure smooth handover from design to order.

Qualifications

• Experience creating engineered solutions for construction projects.
• Up-to-date knowledge of building regulations and standards.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and plans.
• Proficient in construction design software and Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and specification support to Architects and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Advise on product and system solutions aligned with design intent and compliance.
• Produce and manage project-specific technical specifications.
• Maintain records of project activity using CRM systems.
• Develop a pipeline of architectural projects across regions.
• Monitor progress through design and construction phases to retain specs.
• Deliver CPD presentations and design workshops.
• Assist handover and conversion from spec to order with teams.
• Strong knowledge of architectural systems and detailing.
• Proven track record in managing specifications across design stages.
