Job summary

International Architecture & Design Studio in North West London is seeking an experienced Bid Writer to lead the preparation of bids, tenders, PQQs and EOIs for UK and international projects.

You will craft clear, persuasive content, coordinate input from architects and project teams, and maintain a library of bid materials. The role requires excellent English, strong editing skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced design environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in bid writing or bid coordination, preferably within architecture or built environment.
• Excellent written English with copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to translate complex architectural and technical information into clear content.
• Experience managing tender and bid processes end-to-end.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Confidence working directly with senior stakeholders and busy project teams.
• Ability to manage multiple submissions and deadlines.
• A proactive, collaborative and hands-on approach.
• An interest in architecture and design, with the ability to understand and communicate a strong design narrative.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the preparation of bids, tenders, PQQs, EOIs and other submissions.
• Produce clear, persuasive and engaging written content that communicates the studio's experience, capabilities and design approach.
• Review tender documentation and identify key requirements, deadlines and submission criteria.
• Manage the bid process from initial opportunity through to final submission.
• Work closely with senior architects and project teams to gather relevant technical, project and practice information.
• Develop project descriptions, case studies, team biographies and practice credentials.
• Tailor existing content to respond effectively to individual client and project requirements.
• Coordinate input from internal teams and external consultants where required.
• Proofread and edit submissions to ensure consistency, accuracy and quality.
• Maintain and develop a library of bid content, project information, CVs, case studies and supporting material.
• Monitor bid deadlines and ensure submissions are completed accurately and on time.
• Support the studio in identifying and tracking relevant new business and competition opportunities.
• Assist with presentations, award submissions and other written marketing material where required.
• Ensure all submissions and communications reflect the quality and positioning of the practice.
