Job summary

WSP is seeking a qualified Architect in Birmingham to support concept, planning and technical design across projects. You will lead design tasks, develop drawings, and coordinate with clients and consultants to deliver tender and construction stage packages.

We value knowledge of UK building regulations, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and the ability to sketch and communicate technical detail. A commitment to sustainable design and team leadership is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the construction / architectural industry.
• Must be a qualified Architect.
• Working knowledge of UK building regulations and national standards.
• Working capability and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and review drawings ensuring design intent.
• Develop project design concepts, modelling, sketches, conducting research and data collection, preparing presentations and reports, and general production of design and construction documents.
• Works on multiple projects, providing concepts and techniques to achieve design solutions within deadlines and budgets.
