We are currently seeking an Architect and a Technologist/Technician to join our dynamic and growing team at O’Connor Burke Architecture.

This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of our expanding practice, working on a diverse range of projects across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The successful candidates will gain hands-on experience throughout all stages of project development, from initial concept to on-site delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Work across all RIBA/RIAI project stages
• Undertake feasibility studies and develop concept designs
• Prepare and submit planning applications
• Produce detailed design and technical drawing packages
• Develop tender and construction documentation
• Take a lead role or support team leads as needed
• Attend site progress meetings and participate in contract administration

Requirements & Skills

• Degree in Architecture or Architecture Technology.
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Experience in both residential and commercial projects
• Familiarity with NI and/or ROI Building Regulations
• Knowledge of BCAR (Republic of Ireland) is highly advantageous
• A proactive, ambitious attitude and the ability to work independently
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
