Title: Product Technologist - Detergents

Location: Remote working with occasional travel to Northampton

Salary: Up to £35,000

Type: Permanent

SRG is collaborating with a global FMCG product testing company renowned for customer service and providing various product testing, certification, and consulting services to manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. They are seeking a Product Technologist responsible for successful product launches in America and Australia, managing regulatory documentation, and liaising with suppliers for new product information.

Role/Description:

• Coordinate with teams and suppliers to meet Critical Path deadlines.
• Log samples on the Critical Path, ensuring requirements are met.
• Develop and implement regulatory strategies for product launches in Australia and America.
• Communicate with suppliers to gather updates and information.
• Manage labeling, artwork creation, and document organization.
• Review artwork against product details and provide feedback.
• Physically review and scan packaging, checking for errors.
• Maintain knowledge of global regulatory requirements to ensure product compliance.
• Prepare SDS sheets, dossiers, and other regulatory submissions and renewals.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Experience with regulatory compliance in detergents/home care products.
• Understanding of product formulation and development.
• Knowledge of standards such as CLP, REACH, The Detergents Regulation, CPSCSRG.
