Architect Permanent Opportunity. Location: Birmingham City Centre. Salary: Up to £55,000. We're working with a design-led architectural practice to recruit a qualified Architect to join their collaborative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a registered professional to take ownership of projects, coordinate design teams, and contribute to high-quality delivery across a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day project delivery, reporting to senior team members
  • Coordinate design teams and liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Produce design proposals, technical documentation, and measured surveys
  • Manage planning and building control processes, including liaison with local authorities
  • Chair and document design meetings, attend site visits, and support contract administration
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal quality standards
  • Maintain project trackers, records, and documentation using relevant software
  • Represent the practice externally and support business development activities
Essential Requirements
  • RIBA Part 1, 2, and 3 qualifications (or international equivalent with UK NARIC comparability)
  • Current ARB registration as an Architect
  • Strong design and technical skills, with experience across RIBA work stages
  • Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and MS Office 365
  • Familiarity with NBS Chorus and project management tools
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and lead small teams
