Facade Today in Bristol is seeking an Architect to join a growing, employee-owned practice. You will lead projects from concept to delivery, delivering high-quality architectural design for diverse schemes.

The role requires ARB registration with at least 2 years post-qualification experience in the UK, strong drawing and presentation skills, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines. The firm offers hybrid working and career progression opportunities with a salary of £40,000–£45,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• ARB Registered with 2 years post-graduate experience in a UK practice.
• Experience in design and delivery of live projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with clients.
• Ability to balance workload across multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Revit is advantageous.

Since 1953, they’ve been clear that great design requires a human approach, deep local knowledge, and specialist expertise, all backed by verified results. they’re now one of the UK’s largest architectural practices with 300+ specialists in Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Master-planning, Town Planning and Graphic Design.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and deliver great buildings and places for people to inhabit.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, working in a high-quality design and delivery focused practice.
• lead projects from concept to delivery.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary environment – building rapport and creating positive relationships.
• Excellent drawing and presentation skills and the ability to explain a design idea and the evolution of a concept.
• Ability to provide professional guidance to design and construction teams.

Requirements

• ARB Registered with 2 years post graduate experience in a UK practice.
• Have experience in design and delivery of live projects.
• Good interpersonal skills to include an understanding of the sensitivities required when communicating with and presenting to clients.
• Ability to balance workload as the role may require you to focus on more than one project at a time.
• Strong Revit skills would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign.
• Demonstrable experience of collating and organising design submissions, technical information, preparing drawings, plans and documents and report/spec writing.
