Job summary

Konker is seeking an Architect to join the residential team at a leading RIBA practice in South Wales. You will design and deliver housing projects from planning to completion and collaborate with national developers on large-scale schemes across the UK.

The role requires ARB registration, experience with residential projects in UK practice, and proficiency in Revit BIM. You will work in a supportive team, with hybrid working and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• ARB-registered Architect with UK residential project experience.
• Experience delivering planning through technical delivery within UK practice.
• Proficiency with Revit and BIM workflows.
• Knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and legislation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a design team.

Responsibilities

Konker is recruiting for an Architect to join the residential team at one of South Wales's leading RIBA practices.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with national housing developers and PLCs, contributing to the design and delivery of well-designed residential schemes across the UK.

You'll join a supportive team of Architects and Technologists, working on a range of projects including open-market housing, affordable housing and retirement living.

The Role: Architect

• Design and deliver residential projects from planning through to completion.
• Work closely with national housing developers and PLCs on large-scale housing schemes.
• Produce planning and technical drawing packages.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and other members of the design team.
• Ensure projects comply with current UK Building Regulations and relevant legislation.
• Utilise BIM software, ideally Revit, with training available where required.
• ARB-registered Architect.
• Previous experience working on residential projects within UK architectural practice.
• Experience working across a range of RIBA stages, ideally from planning through to technical delivery.
• Strong design and technical skills.
• Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction.
• Revit experience would be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
