Job summary

Architecture Social in London is seeking a Residential Architect to lead large-scale residential developments through planning, technical design and delivery.

You will coordinate BIM models in Revit, ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, and mentor junior team members within a design-led, collaborative studio. This role involves flexible working one day per week and opportunities for career progression on award-winning schemes.

Qualifications

  • Arb-registered Architect with experience delivering residential projects within a UK practice (3+ years PQE).
  • Strong experience on large-scale residential developments.
  • Excellent Stage 4 technical design and delivery experience.
  • Proficient Revit skills to produce and coordinate detailed technical packages.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction detailing and technical coordination.
  • Experience managing consultant teams and coordinating project information.
  • Confident client-facing and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple project priorities.
  • Proactive, collaborative and detail-oriented approach.
  • Flexible working, 1 day a week working from home.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients, contractors and stakeholders to manage project information and resolve technical challenges.
  • Ensure projects comply with UK Building Regulations, planning requirements and industry best practices.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality residential schemes from design development through to construction.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Contribute to design reviews, quality assurance processes and project delivery strategies.
  • Play an active role within a collaborative studio culture that values innovation, sustainability and design excellence.
