Job summary

Idverde is hiring Arborists/Climbers in Burton-on-Trent to join our team. You will perform tree removals, crown work, deadwooding, and planting, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

We offer a 40-hour week, Mon-Fri, 07:00-16:30, on-site work, with overtime where available. A full UK driving licence and industry qualifications are essential to support our projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Arborist, with eye for detail and passion for high quality tree care.
• Strong safety knowledge and ability to operate equipment safely and competently.
• Full UK Driving Licence and relevant industry qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform arboricultural operations including tree removals, crown thinning/reductions/lifting and deadwooding.
• Collaborate with internal and field teams and clients to drive operational excellence.
• Uphold the company reputation in forestry and arboriculture services; ensure safety.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Arborist, with an eye for detail and passion for high quality tree care
• Excellent understanding of arboriculture, safety protocols, care & maintenance of all equipment, plus the ability to undertake operations safely and competently, with a can-do attitude.
• Working closely with both internal & field-based teams and clients, you will help drive operational excellence, support team development, and uphold the company's reputation in forestry and arboriculture services.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and staff at all levels.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Full, clean UK Driving Licence
• Hold Relevant Industry Qualifications - these will be essential
