Job summary

i dverde's Downpatrick team is seeking skilled Arborists to join our expanding grounds maintenance division. This permanent, full-time climber role offers an hourly rate of £17 and a 40-hour week with overtime opportunities.

You will work outdoors across projects, follow safety protocols, and maintain equipment. Successful candidates hold CS qualifications listed and a valid UK manual driving licence. We value safety, teamwork, and career growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in an Arborist team.
• A full valid UK manual driving licence is essential.
• Excellent understanding of arboriculture and the ability to undertake operations safely and competently.
• Awareness of safety protocols and procedures is critical to ensure the well-being of both the surveyor and others in the vicinity of trees being assessed.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Location: Downpatrick, Northern Ireland

Hourly Rate: £17.00 p/h

Contract type: Permanent, Full Time

Working hours: Monday - Friday 7:30-16:30, 40 hours per week + overtime

• CS41 / NPTC 309 - Level 3 Aerial Tree Rigging and Dismantling (desirable)
• Chipper and Pole Saw certificates would be an advantage.
