Job summary

Sky in Osterley is seeking an Apps Integration Engineer to own the end-to-end integration lifecycle for web‑based streaming apps, collaborating with product, delivery and partner teams to improve release quality and accelerate delivery.

You will optimise memory and performance, support a range of partner applications, troubleshoot issues and contribute to testing, tooling and documentation for smoother integrations.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development or application integration, ideally within embedded platform environments.
• Strong Linux knowledge, including commonly used tools, with experience using Git repositories and version control.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (Python or Shell) with an understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
• Experience with multi-threaded and multi-process systems, including memory management and performance optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end app integration lifecycle from feasibility to live updates for millions of customers.
• Integrate and support a wide range of partner applications with web technologies.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues with root‑cause analysis and recommendations.
• Drive app performance and stability by optimising memory, graphics and streaming capabilities.
• Develop test applications, support tools and documentation for partners to build and integrate apps.
