Job summary

Sky is seeking a skilled Front-end Engineer to build scalable web apps using React, TypeScript and NextJS for Sky's streaming ecosystem. You will contribute to onboarding experiences, performance improvements and UI/UX enhancements across NOW, WOW, PeacockTV and SkyShowtime.

Join a cross-functional Agile team, write resilient code, and push for continuous improvements while aligning with Sky's technical strategy. Hybrid working with office days in Osterley.

Qualifications

• Solid commercial experience in React, TypeScript and NextJS development.
• Strong understanding of CI tools and testing frameworks.
• Experience with performance, accessibility and security improvements.
• Ability to push for codebase improvements within a large dev community.

Responsibilities

• Create front-end web applications using React.js and Redux.
• Write resilient, tested code to scale with demand.
• End-to-end testing across unit, functional, integration, visual regression, and Lighthouse tests.
• Be part of a cross-functional Agile team for Sky and NBCU OTT products.
• Contribute to technical direction and tooling improvements.
• Ensure code aligns with the department strategy for high performance and security.
