Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the Apprenticeships Department at a college in Greater Manchester on a full-time, temporary basis. You will work closely with teaching staff and apprentices to provide high-quality learning support and help learners access their programmes.

The role focuses on developing learners' confidence, independence and study skills, with one-to-one and small-group support, and collaboration with colleagues to create an inclusive learning

Qualifications

• Experience in providing learning or educational support.
• Patient, approachable and empathetic.
• Able to build positive relationships with learners and adults.
• Confident working collaboratively with teaching and support teams.
• Organised, reliable and able to work independently.
• Passionate about helping learners achieve their potential.
• Experience in FE, apprenticeships or vocational learning is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to apprentices.
• Support learners with classroom and vocational activities.
• Encourage independence, confidence and study skills.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other support professionals.
• Help create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback.
• Support learners with additional needs and adapt support as required.
