Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the Apprenticeships Department in Greater Manchester on a full-time, temporary basis. The role focuses on providing high-quality learning support to apprentices and learners, helping them access their programmes and build confidence.

You will work with teaching staff to deliver one-to-one or small-group support, monitor progress, and foster an inclusive learning environment. A DBS check on the update service is required.

Qualifications

• Experienced in providing learning or educational support.
• Patient, approachable and empathetic.
• Able to build positive relationships with young people and adults.
• Confident working collaboratively with teaching and support teams.
• Organised, reliable and able to work independently.
• Passionate about helping learners achieve their potential.
• Experience within a further education, apprenticeships or vocational learning environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Eden Brown are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to join the Apprenticeships Department at a college in Greater Manchester on a full-time, temporary basis.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and apprentices to provide high-quality learning support. You will help learners access their programmes effectively, develop their confidence and independence, and overcome barriers to learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support to apprentices.
• Supporting learners with their classroom and vocational learning activities.
• Encouraging learners to develop independence, confidence and study skills.
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff and other support professionals.
