Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking an Apprenticeship and Employability Officer to drive apprenticeship, work experience and employability programmes. You will work with schools, colleges and providers to create pathways into NHS careers, support apprentices and promote opportunities that help people Get In, Get On and Get Further within the NHS.

This role offers a pivotal position within the Talent for Care agenda and requires proactive, people-focused

Qualifications

• Training/teaching qualification such as PTTLS / Cert Ed; Learning Development level 3 or willingness to work towards
• Level 3 Business Administration or Level 3 Health Related qualification
• Literacy and numeracy qualifications (GCSE A-C or 4-9)
• ILM Level 3 in Management and Leadership or Project management

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for enquiries; guidance on Apprenticeships, work experience, employability and learning activities.
• Support widening participation by establishing Traineeship Programmes for NHS pathways.
• Deliver support sessions/workshops related to apprenticeship opportunities.
• Maintain manual and electronic filing systems and databases; archive documents as per policy.
