Job summary

College of West Anglia in Wisbech is seeking an Apprenticeship Trainer Assessor - Brickwork to support brickwork apprentices with high-quality training and guidance. You will observe onsite, conduct regular training reviews with apprentices and employers, and deliver engaging classroom and workshop sessions.

The role offers flexible working arrangements, part-time hours (15 per week) and a supportive team devoted to developing people and strengthening links with local employers.

Job description

JOB TITLE: Apprenticeship Trainer Assessor - Brickwork

LOCATION: Wisbech

HOURS: 15 hours per week

SALARY: £12,934 - £16,310 (£31,904 - £40,233 FTE)

You will work closely with our brickwork apprentices, providing high-quality training, guidance and support throughout their apprenticeship journey. The role offers an excellent opportunity to build strong relationships with our valued local employers and to make a real difference to the skills and confidence of our apprentices.

Your responsibilities will include carrying out onsite observations, regular training reviews with apprentices and employers, and delivering engaging training within the classroom and workshop environment. You will work collaboratively with employers to ensure apprentices are making good progress and that their training reflects current industry expectations and workplace practices.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing people, has strong industry knowledge and enjoys working in partnership with employers and colleagues. Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not be made at point 12 or above (£37,454 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.
