Are you an experienced Bricklayer or Brickwork professional looking to step away from site and move into education?
Do you want to use your trade experience to train the next generation of Bricklayers while enjoying a stable, long-term role with full training and development?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing training provider that is increasing apprentice and pre-apprentice numbers while maintaining a strong focus on quality. This role would suit someone who wants a genuine career change, enjoys working with people, and wants to give back to the construction industry.
As a Brickwork Tutor, you'll support the running of the Brickwork workshop, delivering practical training to learners and helping them develop the skills, standards, and confidence needed to succeed in the industry. The role is centre-based, working closely alongside another experienced Brickwork Tutor.
The ideal candidate will have strong Brickwork or Bricklaying trade experience, ideally with at least 5 years' experience on site. Formal teaching or assessing qualifications are not essential, as full training can be provided to help you become an NVQ Assessor and gain relevant teaching qualifications. Candidates with around 3 years' strong trade experience may also be considered if they have the right attitude and potential.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Bricklayer to transition into education, gain teaching and assessing qualifications, and make a lasting impact on learners entering the construction industry.
