Herts Resourcing Group is recruiting for an Apprenticeship Review Officer on behalf of Hertford Regional College (HRC).

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong relationship-building and organisational skills who is passionate about supporting apprentices to succeed.

As an Apprenticeship Review Officer, you will play an important role in the learner journey, working closely with apprentices, employers, HRC and external delivery partners to ensure apprentices receive the support they need from enrolment right through to successful End Point Assessment (EPA).

About the Role

Working as part of the Apprenticeship Team, you will take responsibility for developing positive relationships with employers, apprentices and delivery partners while ensuring apprenticeship requirements and processes are effectively managed.

A key part of the position will be arranging and completing regular apprentice progress reviews, monitoring progress against training plans and agreed targets, and identifying any issues that could affect an apprentice's successful completion.

Experience of working with Apprentices would be highly advantageous but not essential, full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify concerns or areas where additional support or action may be required.
  • Discuss and monitor areas including health and safety, safeguarding and Prevent as part of the review process.
  • Work with employers and delivery partners to update training plans and assessment schedules where required.
  • Gather and review the necessary apprenticeship documentation and help ensure funding compliance.
  • Schedule End Point Assessments and keep employers, apprentices and delivery partners informed throughout the process.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation and reports.

You will need to be an effective communicator who is comfortable working independently, managing a varied workload and keeping accurate records.

  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage reviews and documentation and deadlines.
  • The ability to complete compliance and operational documentation
  • The ability to provide general pastoral support.
  • Knowledge and awareness of current working practices including health and safety.
  • A minimum Level 2 qualification in Maths and English, or a commitment to achieve these qualifications within a specified period.
