University College Birmingham is looking for an Apprenticeship Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and improvement across our apprenticeship provision. The role sits within the Centre for Apprenticeships and focuses on ensuring the apprentice journey is coherent and individualized.

You will develop quality frameworks, coordinate staff development and use evidence to drive practical improvements that enhance apprentice success and employer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading apprenticeship quality assurance and improvement.
• Ability to develop quality frameworks and guidance.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
• Experience contributing to self-assessment and inspection readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead apprenticeship-specific quality assurance and improvement across the provision.
• Develop quality frameworks, guidance and resources for apprenticeships.
• Coordinate staff development and standardisation of practice.
• Contribute to self-accessment, improvement planning and inspection readiness.
• Evaluate how activities support apprentice learning, progress and outcomes.
