Job summary

The University of Greenwich seeks an Apprenticeship Skills Coach to support apprentices and trainees across disciplines within the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences. The role covers the Medway Campus in Chatham Maritime and the Greenwich Campus in Greenwich, London, with matrix management by the Head of Apprenticeships.

You will monitor progress, guide learners, and maintain strong employer relationships, ensuring on-time completion and successful End Point Assessments.

Qualifications

• Experience in apprenticeship coaching or learner support.
• Knowledge of higher and degree apprenticeship programmes.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and digital skills.
• Experience coordinating with employers and learner support teams is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review progress against apprenticeship standards.
• Support learners to complete apprenticeship and End Point Assessment.
• Maintain strong relationships with employers and stakeholders.
• Provide information, advice and guidance throughout the apprenticeship journey.
• Collaborate with academic colleagues and central university teams.
