Job summary

Brighter Horizons Training and Development in the United Kingdom is seeking a full-time Assessor to work on-site in Chichester, delivering Early Years and Health and Social Care apprenticeships. You will plan, deliver and assess learning against relevant standards and frameworks.

You will conduct workplace observations, review evidence portfolios, provide constructive feedback and ensure that learners meet assessment and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Relevant assessor qualifications (e.g., TAQA, A1, D32/D33) and experience assessing vocational qualifications.
• Professional experience in Early Years or Adult Social Care settings with up-to-date sector knowledge.
• Strong communication, coaching, and mentoring abilities to guide learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess learning in line with standards and frameworks.
• Conduct workplace observations and review evidence portfolios; provide feedback.
• Ensure learners meet assessment and compliance requirements; maintain records.
• Collaborate with employers to align training with workplace practice; contribute to QA.
• Advise learners on progression, safeguarding and professional conduct; promote inclusion.
