Job summary

Pentagon Motor Group is seeking an Apprentice Warranty Processor at our Barnsley dealership. You will be integral to submitting and monitoring warranty claims, processing invoices, and liaising with the Service team to keep work in progress on track.

The role requires strong administration skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset. Training will be provided, with a supportive team and a clear career path in retail automotive services.

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience is required.
• Demonstrate excellent computer skills and attention to detail.
• Be customer focused with strong communication.
• Be methodical, organised and able to meet deadlines.
• Open to training and working well in a team.
• Experience in the motor trade is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process warranty/retail invoices.
• Liaise with Service team and manage work in progress.
• Communicate with manufacturers to resolve submission issues.
• Follow processes to ensure successful warranty claims.
• Reconcile paid claims and maintain warranty records.
• Keep up to date with warranty bulletins and inform colleagues.
• Ensure all job cards meet standards and bulletins for compliance.

What Will You Be Doing?

As the Apprentice Warranty Processor you will be an integral part of the team that is responsible for the submission and monitoring of all Warranty claims that fall under this team.

• The processing of warranty/retail invoices.
• Liaising with the Service team & work in progress management.
• Communicating with manufacturers to resolve submission issues/corrections.
• Following process to make successful warranty claims.
• Reconciling paid claims and providing accurate and up to date warranty records.
• Keeping up to date with all the latest warranty bulletins and advising Technicians and all relevant colleagues accordingly.
• Ensuring all job cards adhere to standards and warranty bulletins for compliance.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 17:00pm.
