Job summary

Pentagon Mazda in Nottingham is offering an Apprenticeship for a Vehicle Technician in the Service department. You will receive full in-house and manufacturer training to become the best you can be, with an NVQ/City & Guilds qualification.

A £4000 Loyalty Bonus is paid after 6 years of service, and pre-screening calls will be made by our Apprenticeship Provider. You should have a passion for the motor trade, be able to listen, follow instructions, and communicate well.

Responsibilities

• Learn to service vehicles – carrying out checks and maintaining vehicles according to the manufacturers’ guidelines.
• Learn to repair and replace faulty parts and components.
• Advise about required repairs to the service department and to customers.
• Produce time estimates for repairs and maintenance to be completed.
• Maintain repair and service records on the in-house computer system and for customers.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Learn to service vehicles – carrying out checks and maintaining vehicles according to the manufacturers’ guidelines.

The Apprentice Programme will ensure that you are trained to learn how to undertake the repairs and servicing of motor vehicles; detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repairs; and ensure that all work is completed safely, complying with manufacturers’ and industry guidelines.

A £4000 Loyalty Bonus to be paid on completion of 6 years service with Pentagon Motor Group (inclusive of time spent training and qualifying).
