Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is offering an Apprenticeship as a Vehicle Technician at Audi Stansted. You will earn while you learn, gaining qualifications with hands-on tasks and support from a friendly, experienced team.

You'll service vehicles, identify faults, relay repairs to Service Advisors, and keep accurate records. A strong work ethic, punctuality and teamwork are essential as you progress through the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Math, English and Science are required.
• Punctuality and timekeeping are essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing vehicles and performing checks and maintenance per brand guidelines.
• Identify, repair and replace faulty components.
• Liaise with Service Advisors about required repairs.
• Maintain service records.
• Learn and maintain tidiness of the work bay.
• Demonstrate customer-centric approach.
• Meet apprenticeship course progress requirements.

What you’ll do day to day

• Servicing our vehicles – you’ll be carrying out checks and maintenance in accordance with brand guidelines.
• Identifying, repairing and replacing components and parts that are faults.
• Liaising with our Service Advisors about required repairs or vehicle work.
• Maintaining repair and service records.
• Learn and demonstrate work bay and surrounding area tidiness.
• To always consider the customer impact on any activity with the vehicle, demonstrating our customer-centric approach.
• To satisfy the academic requirements of the apprenticeship – engage with our provider and ensure course progress.
