Job summary

Farmhouse Inns is seeking an Apprentice Team Leader to motivate and guide front of house teams, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable 5-star experience.

You'll lead by example during busy shifts, support the management team, and help organise the team to keep service smooth, safe, and welcoming. Training is delivered on the job with mentoring and weekly coaching as part of your apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship delivered on the job with mentor support.
• Functional Skills English and Maths provided if needed.
• Reviews every 12 weeks with Manager and Lifetime Learner Coach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience on every visit.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve issues in their absence.
• Organise and coordinate the team during busy shifts for smooth service.
• Ensure the bar is safe, legal, and clean, with fast issue resolution.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy in every pour.
• Model great service and welcome for all customers.
• Think on your feet and adapt to shift challenges.
• Show a positive, can-do attitude and be a team player.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy shift, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.
• A great eye for detail, making sure every pint is poured to perfection.
• Be a role model to the team on giving great service and making sure every customer receives a warm welcome.
• An ability to think on your feet and adapt to whatever challenges arise during a busy shift.
• A positive can-do attitude and be a real team player.

What your apprenticeship includes

• You won't need to attend college, our apprenticeships are delivered through work-based training which includes a mixture of face-to-face sessions and remote Team calls with your Lifetime Learner Coach every 6 weeks. You will also have a mentor within the workplace to support you.
• Obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths, with support tailored to your needs (if you don't already have GCSE or equivalents).
• Reviews every 12 weeks with the Apprentice, Line Manager and Lifetime Learner Coach including feedback sessions.
