Maltby Lilly Hall Academy, part of Place Partnership, is seeking an Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join a motivated team. The role involves assisting with classroom learning, supporting students, and helping create a positive environment under supervision.

The position is temporary for 18 months (or until completion of apprenticeship), 34 hours per week, term-time plus 2 inset days. Salary starts at apprentice rate £8.00 per hour, rising to NMW after 4-month probation.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Teaching Assistant role in a UK academy.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Ability to work with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Establish good relationships with students and respond to individual needs.
• Work with the teacher to establish an appropriate learning environment.
• Support students consistently, while recognizing and responding to their needs.
