Kuehne+Nagel is offering a 24-month apprenticeship in logistics administration at our East Midlands Gateway site. You will gain practical on-the-job training and study toward the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, supporting planning, bookings and customer service activities.

The role emphasizes developing foundational skills with mentoring from experienced colleagues, low entry barriers with GCSEs, and opportunities to progress within a global logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs at grades 3-9 / A*-D including Maths & English.
• Strong planning, organisation and multitasking abilities.
• Experience with Outlook and Excel is beneficial.
• UK work eligibility; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsabilités

• Support planning, execution and delivery of apprentice projects.
• Assist Sales Managers and coordinate shipments for customers.
• Process and issue invoices and maintain records.
• Attend training sessions and meetings as part of the programme.
• Engage with customers and onboard new clients.

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our road logistics team based at our East Midlands Gateway office an Apprentice. How you create impact

Our 24-month Apprenticeship programme is designed to provide you with the perfect blend of practical on-the-job training and study towards the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.

You'll be learning how to…

• Efficiently process bookings from clients and overseas agents on to our system.
• Provide operational support for the Sales Managers when required.
• Liaise with all relevant parties throughout shipments to organise the movement of goods by providing exceptional customer service ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
• Deal with any issues that may arise during a shipment and ensure the client and/or Sales Manager is updated
• Process sales and purchase invoices for the branch
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in meetings and training sessions
• Make sales calls, engage and onboard new customers
• Attend customer offsite meetings
• Analyse sales performance statistics and prepare/deliver customer review meetings

What we would like you to bring

The minimum entry requirement for this apprenticeship is Five GCSEs at grades 3-9 / A*-D including Maths & English)

Our company values candidates who are passionate about providing excellent customer service, have a strong work ethic, and can communicate effectively with others. Good planning and organization skills is important, and you will need the ability to multitask and be a self-starter.

Previous use of Microsoft Outlook and Excel is beneficial.

This position requires enhanced security clearance checks and by applying for this role you are agreeing to participate in the employment screening process. Recruitment Process

1. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
2. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a telephone screening call with a member of our Talent Acquisition team.
