Farmfoods in Smethwick is recruiting an Apprentice Trainee Supervisor for a permanent full-time role working 5 days from 7. You will gain hands-on experience in a busy retail store, learn stock control, customer service, and daily shop operations, with training provided by an apprenticeship provider.

You must be 16 or over and not in full-time education. The role offers opportunities to progress within a friendly, fast-paced environment and develop valuable retail skills.

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy with multiple tasks including deliveries, till service, and team organisation.
• Reliable as part of a small team with colleagues and customers depending on you.
• Flexible shifts; three weeks rota planning and outside commitments considered.

Responsibilities

• Make customers feel welcome with a friendly hello.
• Help customers find items they are looking for.
• Provide fast, friendly till service and assist with packing.
• Handle stock with care; manage deliveries and shelving for customers to buy.
• Work with the team to keep the shop clean and tidy.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and support the manager.
