Job summary

Exeter City Council is offering a two-year Level 4 apprenticeship for an Apprentice Regulatory Compliance Officer in the Environmental Health & Licensing team. The role combines structured study with practical, on-the-job learning within a busy regulatory environment.

You will be supported by experienced officers, gain a nationally recognised qualification, and progressively take on more responsibility as your knowledge and confidence grow.

Responsibilities

• Work with businesses, residents and partner agencies to support compliance.
• Develop knowledge, skills and behaviours to become a competent regulatory professional.
• Receive mentoring and supervision from experienced colleagues throughout training.
